Hirosaki University COI site ～ Healthy Aging Innovation Forum 2015 in Tokyo

On Friday, July 3rd, “Healthy Aging Innovation Forum 2015 ～ Revolution in Life Expectancy ～“ was held at Hitotsubashi Hall, in Tokyo.
Hirosaki University COI (Center of Innovation) site was adopted as MEXT COI STREAM in 2013, and its theme is as follows; “Development of an innovative strategy for disease prediction and prevention by analyzing big health data related to dementia and life style diseases ～The Center of Health Aging Innovation～”.
The forum was held for the first time in Tokyo aiming at introducing research results of the past at Hirosaki University COI and discussing the development of new industrial opportunities to expand the research activity.

Approximately 600 participants, including citizens, companies and researchers attended the forum.
11 prominent Japanese researchers and businessmen were invited as a special speaker to exchange valuable idea for next goal to realize the vision.

Hirosaki University COI site will continue making significant efforts to improve the overall quality of life (QOL) in the ageless society for happiness.
