JICA Selected Hirosaki University as 2014 JPP Partner “Development of Apple Production Technologies in Bhutan”~the Grassroots Cooperation Projects

A project that proposal by Hirosaki city (Aomori), “The cultivation programs of the skillful extension workers which have the high level of apple production techniques related to the nurseries, the fruit quality and the processing that supports apple industrial development in Bhutan “ has been selected as 2014 JICA Partnership Program (JPP), followed by a different adopted project as 2013 JPP “Enhancement of Uzbekistan Farmers’ income through applying modern apple growing technology“, that planned by Fujisaki town (Aomori). Hirosaki University participates in both programs as a partner to provide the accumulated experiences and technology.
