Faculty of Agriculture and Life Science

Faculty of Agriculture and Life Science

Overview

Science and Technology create an affluent future of the world.

Focusing on both experiments and practical trainings in the fields of biology, agriculture, economics and system engineering.
The Faculty of Agriculture and Life Science consists of the following five departments. The Department of Biology is designed to enable students to understand the mechanism of the life and to study the management and preservation of the natural environment. The Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology researches and applies the principal of the life to develop new biotechnology. The Department of Applied Biosciences provides students with a basic background necessary to ensure food and agricultural systems in relationship to human health. The Department of Agriculture and Horticulture aims to create production methods of garden products and basic food which harmonizes with the natural environment, and promotes the well being of the social economy system. The Department of Agricultural & Environmental Engineering creates a rich and comfortable environment for agricultural production and rural life. Each department offers two educational courses.
The Faculty of Agriculture and Life Science has two teaching and research farms, in which students can gain practical experience in the fruit, vegetable, crop and animal production to acquire the foundations in the field of agriculture and life science.
